Auf der anspruchsvollen Strecke des Sepang International Circuit zeigte Hafizh Syahrin in seiner Heimat Malaysia ein solides Rennen, bei dem er bereits nach der ersten Runde eine Position wettmachen konnte.
Der 19-jährige Iker Lecuna wird bereits beim kommenden MotoGP in Valencia für das KTM Tech 3 Team an den Start gehen.
Alex Marquez, der kleine Bruder des achtfachen Weltmeisters Marc Marquez, holte sich beim Rennen in Malaysia den ersten Weltmeistertitel in der Moto2-Klasse.
